Pygmy Goats

The Rocky Oaks Ranch goat ranch began with a handful of “brushers” in 2002 … pet quality pygmy goats that we grew to love. We have now been raising & showing N.P.G.A. registered Pygmy Goats since 2003. In 2004, we traveled to several states to talk to well-known breeders and invest in selected herd stock with champion lines. We are proud to have a solid foundation herd of pygmy goats with well-known bloodlines from Whirlwind Farms, Red Rock Hills, Carousel Acres, Blackland, R & R Acres, J-Lynn, Pygmy Goats by T.J., Valkyries', Hebron Farms, Echo Point, and more.

All of our goats (Pygmy and Dairy) have been tested Negative for C.A.E. Our bucks are tested annually and our does every other year. ALL new additions to our herd are tested upon arrival and kept quarantined until the results come back. Our entire foundation herd was also tested negative for CL/Johnnes. We are dedicated to the safety and health of all of our animals. We keep detailed herd health and breeding records on all of our animals.
