Thank you again for visiting our ranch website.  We welcome questions, so please ask if you are wondering about something… if we don't' know the answer, we are happy to ask around in the goat community to find out the answer… that's how we all learn!    There are some excellent resources out there for goat husbandry and livestock guardian dogs that we have personally found invaluable.  We are honored to be able to share some of our favorites with you in hopes that you will ask questions, read and learn, and be fully educated before you get that first goat or puppy.   Animals take time, love, dedication, patience, and sometimes hard work.  It is important to understand what you are getting into before you take that first step. 

There are excellent resources in your community too… please don't forget your local 4-H office and/or regional Pygmy  and/or Dairy Goat Clubs as a wonderful source of information.  Regional goat clubs are made up of many different goat breeders in your local area who are passionate about ensuring their animal's health and continuing perfection of quality animals and adherence to the pygmy goat and/or dairy goat breed standard.    We belong to two regional goat clubs in the Northern California and Nevada and are members in good standing with both the National Pygmy Goat Association and the American Dairy Goat Association.
